The E200FH Dynamic Flying Height Box enables measurement of in-situ flying height
of today’s thermally actuated ultra-low flying sliders. Unlike optical based
measurements, the in-situ approach uses the readback signal from the HDD head,
and provides a dynamic and real-time accurate measurement of the head-media
spacing.
